  • The Roar

    Grizzly bears reach weights of 400 to 1500 pounds and can stand 8 feet tall on its hind legs.The male is on average 1.8 times as heavy as the female. Their coloring range widely across geographic areas, and can run from blond to deep brown or black. Grizzlies can be distinguished from most other brown bear subspecies by their longer claws and the large hump across the shoulders.
